The Air Force has selected 543 active-duty lieutenant colonels for promotion to colonel during the P0624A central selection board (LAF-A/N/I/C/F and X), the service announced Thursday.

Colonel (P0624A) selection statistics:

•LAF-Air Operations and Special Warfare: 242 selected out of 702 considered.

•LAF-Nuclear and Missile Operations: 11 selected out of 36 considered.

•LAF-Information Warfare: 92 selected out of 284 considered.

•LAF-Combat Support: 98 selected out of 257 considered.

•LAF-Force Modernization: 73 selected out of 174 considered.

•LAF-Cross Functional Operations: 27 selected out of 53 considered.
