India Company Marines received their eagle, globe and anchors after the 54-hour Crucible event at Camp Pendleton on Feb. 12. The Crucible is the final test of knowledge, skills and endurance Marine recruits undergo before officially earning the title of United States Marine.
In November, the U.S. Marine Corps will celebrate its 250th anniversary. Marines across the globe are honoring the Corps’ history and service throughout the year.
