It’s back to school on Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia.
U.S. Marines welcomed DODEA students and staff back to the classrooms with motivational high-fives and cheers at Quantico Middle/High School and Crossroads Elementary School on Wednesday.
Col. Jenny Colegate, commanding officer of MCBQ, and Sgt. Maj. Michael R. Brown, sergeant major of MCBQ, made an appearance at Quantico/Middle High School and applauded the students’ return from summer break. The Quantico Marine Brass Band performed during a back-to-school celebration at Crossroads Elementary School as students arrived to the entrance, also being greeted by the Crossroads Eagle mascot, “Freedom”.
