The U.S. Army sent out its annual Tenant Satisfaction Survey on Monday, targeting more than 200,000 soldiers and their families to ask about their housing experiences.

“As we learned from last year’s survey, investing in housing improvements that provide safe, secure, quality housing is important for our soldiers and their families,” Lt. Gen. David Wilson, the deputy chief of staff for installations, said in a service news release. “This survey is an important tool for the Army to understand their needs to provide the best housing possible and enable our focus on warfighting.”

Administered by CEL & Associates Inc., the survey — which is confidential and voluntary — seeks to gain insights that will inform future improvements to housing quality, resident services and community amenities.

It will be available online until May 1 to tenants who received the link and are residing in Army privatized, government-owned, and government-leased family and permanent party unaccompanied housing.

“This survey, and our continued housing improvement efforts, highlight our continued commitment to the health and welfare of our soldiers and their families, which we know directly impacts Army readiness,” Wilson. said

Tenants who do not receive the survey email should contact their local garrison housing offices. Once the survey results are official, the Army will make them publicly available.
