The rocket battalion has landed safely back home.
The New Hampshire Army National Guard HIMARS (high mobility rocket system) battalion completed a nine-month rotation in support of Operations Spartan Shield and Inherent Resolve.
Nearly 270 soldiers from 3rd Battalion, 197th Field Artillery Regiment reunited with family and friends Thursday during a welcome home ceremony at the Manchester, N.H., armory.
The unit included a battery of 84 Guard soldiers from Michigan.
