(Tribune News Service) — A 4th Infantry Division soldier who had been missing for several days has been found safe, according to a Fort Carson spokesperson.

Army Pfc. Aaron Frame had last been seen at Fort Carson on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at about 5 p.m. He did not report the following morning and had not been in touch with family members or unit leadership, officials said.

“Today, Pvt. 1st Class Aaron Frame was located and is safe,” the spokesperson said on Sunday. “ The 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson sincerely appreciate the assistance of our communities and partnered agencies for their support with finding him.”

Officials did not say where he was found, or if he will be punished for being AWOL.
