Show-stopping weapons maneuvers, precise tosses, complex exchanges and a walk through a throng of spinning guns. All in a day’s work for the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team.

On Wednesday at 7 p.m. at National Harbor in Maryland, the team will kick of its first performance of Drill at Dusk, a 10-minute performance featuring choreographed sequences showing a dramatic exhibition of precision military drill.

The Honor Guard introduced the event in 2022 as an opportunity to connect with the local community and share an insight into the culture of the military with approximately 300 nightly spectators.

Throughout the years, the Honor Guard Drill Team has worked with the Air Force Recruiting Service to provide presence in hundreds of locations. The team tours various Air Force bases and community events across the globe, as well as providing performances to thousands visiting the nation’s capital at various national monuments in Washington, D.C.

The team is based at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C.
