B-2 Spirit, ACC A-10 Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team highlight Wings Over Whiteman Air Show

Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri opened its two-day WOW Air Show on Saturday.
Among the highlights was a flyover by B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. The B-2’s low-observable characteristics give it the unique ability to penetrate an enemy’s most sophisticated defenses and threaten its most valued and heavily defended targets.
The headlining act for the show was the ACC A-10 Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team.

On Friday, the base hosted the first 2024 Wings Over Whiteman STEM Fest.
The event included aircraft static displays for the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber, A-10 Thunderbolt II and MQ-9 Reaper. Additionally, there were 60 exhibitors and numerous volunteers from Team Whiteman.
Day 2 of the air show is Sunday.
