Bruce Glover, an Korean War veteran and prolific character actor known for playing an assassin in the James Bond movie “Diamonds Are Forever” and a P.I. in the neo-noir classic “Chinatown,” died March 12 at a hospital in Los Angeles. He was 92.
Chet Gladchuk, the Naval Academy’s athletic director, is retiring after 24 years. The academy said Monday it would start a national search for a replacement, and the new AD will take over “upon a timely transition.”
