The writer of “Clean USO shows preferred” (letter, Dec. 24-25) states he does not like profanity. What the writer didn’t state was how big the ball and chain was that kept him there to watch it. I suggest he walk away from something he doesn’t like.

I personally would’ve enjoyed a comedy show from Dave Attell. We at Joint Security Station Istiqlal do not get opportunities for shows like that. The writer should be grateful for what the United Service Organizations can provide. I enjoy my care packages, do you?
