KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — Telepost Kabel-Service subscribers in the Kaiserslautern Military Community will experience a temporary disruption of telephone, Internet and television services early Thursday as TKS undertakes a series of network and security upgrades, the company announced.

The outage will affect all on-base services the company provides at all KMC installations, including Ramstein Air Base, Vogelweh, Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Sembach, Landstuhl and Kleber and Daenner kasernes.

The outage will occur between midnight and 5:30 a.m. on Thursday. Services will automatically resume after the upgrade, which will enhance the network’s security, bandwidth and stability, according to the release.

Customers experiencing problems after the upgrade can call the TKS customer service hotline at 01804-857-762.
