Servicemembers in Germany will not be able to use their Esso fuel cards for some services during system upgrades Monday and Tuesday.
The disruption will last from Monday at 6 a.m. through Tuesday at 3 p.m., AAFES said in a news release. During that time, new fuel card accounts can’t be opened, new fuel cards or replacement cards can’t be issued, online payments cannot be added, edited or deleted, but existing payments will be processed.
Also, from 8 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, customers will be unable to purchase tax-free fuel at local Esso stations. People who use Esso stations during this portion of the system upgrade will pay full price for their fuel purchases. Exchange gas stations on post will remain open, but only for cash transactions.
