Dental chairs and equipment at the Docs Dental clinic in the exchange mall at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The clinic, which had its grand opening in October, is temporarily closed because of a licensing issue an insurance company raised. The practice expects to reopen in mid-July.
The Remonon mobile app allows users in Germany to scan purchase receipts and file claims for VAT reimbursement directly from their smartphones. Beginning July 1, 2024, Installation Management Command-Europe will add up to 120 users to the Remonon pilot program from the U.S. Army Garrison Ansbach, Rheinland-Pfalz and Stuttgart communities.

A bird eye’s view of the hills and valley below Lichtenberg Castle – also known as Kusel Castle – can be seen from the top of a watch tower on the castle grounds. The castle ruins, which dates back more than 800 years, is one of the largest castle complexes in Germany. It’s located about 30 minutes from Ramstein Air Base in the village of Thallichtenberg in Kusel county, Germany.
